Aetna Benefits Engine
This internal tool was created in partnership with data science in order to digitized a process that was previously manual and time consuming. Aetna Benefits Engine allows the insurance sales team to quickly review insurance plan package design options based on recommendations generated for them based on client specific plan needs. Users can easily view recommended plan designs, make adjustments to the plans and share with their clients for approval.
Look and feel of the product aligns with Aetna corporate branding. It was important for the branding to reflect the simplicity of the functionality of the benefits engine while also conveying a sense of the machine learning and data working behind the scenes.
